The Duplicate Points Classifier Point Cloud Task (PCT) detects and classifies duplicate points. Duplicate points are defined as points with coincident geometry.
Input Datasets
Define input geometries and LAS layers for processing.
- Feature Geometry - Defines the area to apply the PCT. Select Input Feature Geometry (default: Tool Geometry or specific feature/shapefile).

Input LAS Layer - Select Input LAS Layer (default: Active LAS Layer or specific LAS layer) to define the points within the dataset to use in the PCT processing.
- Input Points Filter - Optionally apply Input Points Filter to select point classes for the PCT processing. Opens the Live View dialog to allow filtering of which points to use from the input LAS Layer.
Settings
GPS Times must match
If the GPS Times must match option is selected, then GPS times are taken into account when determining if a point is a duplicate point.
Destination Class
Select the new classification for the duplicate points using the Destination Class dialog.
