Predefined Volumetric Macros
About the Predefined Volumetric Macros
Often the Volumetric Analysis task will be used in conjunction with one or more Conflation point cloud tasks in a macro. In these scenarios, the interactive Point Cloud Tools can be used to indirectly digitize the polygon circumscribing the hull and base surfaces. The interactive tools digitize 2D geometries, and then the Conflation point cloud task(s) create the 3D geometries, which can then be sent directly into Volumetric Analysis as the circumscribing polygon(s). To simplify this process, the following predefined macros are provided in LP360. All of the Input/Output settings are predefined, and the macros can be run just as they are, but you may also adjust the settings if you like. If you have a custom workflow that does not fit one of these predefined macros, you can always build a macro from scratch, in which you will be able to configure all of the settings.
