On the properties page for a Point Cloud Task and other tools within LP360, the Input Datasets allows you to define the input geometries and LAS layers that will be used in processing. The Input Points Filter opens the Live View to allow filtering of which points to use from the Input LAS Layer.
How to Define the Input Datasets
- On the property page for a Point Cloud Task or other tool in LP360, click the '...' button to define an Input Feature Geometry. Usually, this will be the interactive <Tool Geometry>, so that is the default selection, however, user may choose to pick a specific Feature Layer in the project, or it could be a shapefile not in the project.

Click 'Close' to accept the selection.

On the property page for a Point Cloud Task or other tool in LP360, click the '...' button again to define the Input LAS Layer. Usually, this will be the Active LIDAR Layer, so that is the default selection, however, the user may choose to pick a specific LAS Layer in the project.

If applicable, click 'Close' to accept your selection.

When available, the Input Points Filter, formerly 'Source Points', button defines the point classes that must pass the filter to be used in the process.
