When configuring the properties for the Attribute Editor Point Cloud Task the Edit Fields dialog allows you to modify, add, delete, and prompt for input values for attributes to the schema associated with shapefiles.
About Editing Fields
Pressing the “Edit Fields…” button on the main property page of the Attribute Editor Point Cloud Task shows the Edit Fields dialog. The Edit Fields dialog allows you to import the schema from an existing DBF file, add new fields, edit existing fields, and remove existing fields.
How to Edit Fields
1. From the 'Main Property' page of the Attribute Editor Point Cloud Task, press the Edit Fields... button to open the Edit Fields dialog (Figure 1).
2. Select the following ways to alter the fields:

Add
- Pressing the Add
button opens the Add Field dialog.

Modify Field
- Selecting a row in the 'Fields' grid and pressing the Modify Field
button opens the Modify Field dialog.

Remove
- Pressing the Remove
button removes selected fields from the grid and as well as from the output DBF file.

Load from DBF... - Pressing the
Load from DBF... button opens the standard Windows Open File dialog to select the DBF file and populate the grid below with the name, type, length, and precision from the selected DBF file.
