The Draw Shape Features Point Cloud Task allows you to output Shapefiles from input geometry using the I/O Manager.

Draw Shape Features Output File - The input geometry are written to a shapefile as set within the I/O Manager by pressing the ellipsis (...) button.
How to use the Draw Shape Features Point Cloud Task
- Use the Add Files
command to open the files that contain the data you want to use.
- Use the Add Task command in the PCT Manager
to create a new Point Cloud Task. When you are selecting a Task Type in the Add Point Cloud Task dialog, select Draw Shape Features. Select OK, you should see the unique name that you gave your task selected in the list of tasks. Double click to open the Draw Shape Features property page displayed in the Point Cloud Task properties dialog.
- Specify the settings for the Draw Shape Features operation in the Properties page that displays. Use the appropriate tool from the Point Tasks tab of the ribbon to create the desired shape features.
