Feature Layer Property Page

The Feature Layer property page, accessed by right-clicking a feature layer from the Table of Contents and clicking 'Properties...', contains four tabs:

Symbol Tab

The Symbol tab is where the user may adjust the Outline Width, Fill Color, and Outline Color of a feature. The 'Fill' checkbox can fill a polygon with the Color chosen by the user.

Coordinate Reference System (CRS) Tab

You can check and alter the coordinate reference system (CRS) of a feature layer through this tab.

Files Tab

The user can check and see the file paths for feature files and associated files for the feature layer.

Labels Tab

A label is a text description of an object or area on the map for Feature Layers, or shapefile (.shp) layers. Labels can be any text description that identifies features. The label definitions are obtained from the layers schema definition (or the associated .dbf file).
