Using the Copy Feature Layer in the right-click menu (RCM) of the Table of Contents (TOC), you may easily copy all the features and their attributes from one Feature Layer to a new layer.

How to Copy Feature Layers

Right click on a feature within the table of contents and click 'Copy Feature Layer' on the menu that appears to open the Copy Feature Layer dialog.

Copy SHP File Path - Set the path of the copy of the feature file. Select the ellipsis [...] button to browse for a folder.

Append to SHP File - If the file path set above already exists, an option to append (or add) the feature copy to this existing file will become available.

Copy Attributes - Select this option to add the attributes from the original feature to the feature copy.

Add To Map - Select this option to add the feature copy to the map window after the operation is finished.

Copy Layer Name - Enter the name for the copy layer.
