About the Feature Data Layer

LP360 displays shapefiles as an added layer to supplement the LAS and raster layers. The Add Files command on the Project tab of the ribbon opens the Add Files dialog that you can use to find and open your feature shapefiles. The shapefiles help you visualize points, lines and polygons contained in shapefiles in conjunction with your LAS Layer.

Once the shapefile is opened, it is listed in the TOC as a layer, and the contents of the file(s) is displayed in the map.
