About The Rail Extraction Parameter Set

The Rail Extraction parameter set defines the properties of a particular rail set, for example, the units used, the rail width and spacing, etc. You can add new rail sets with unique names that contain specific parameters to that rail set. You can modify existing rail sets and you can delete rail sets no longer needed. The collection of parameter sets (i.e., each unique parameter set) are global to the workstation, meaning the same list is available to all projects opened on the workstation. The Load and Save buttons allow you to save the parameters to files for sharing with other workstations.

How To Select the Rail Extraction Parameter Set

1. Define a Rail Extractor Point Cloud Task as described in the Rail Extractor topic.
2. Select an existing Rail Extraction parameter set from the Parameter Set list.  
   
3. Complete the setup of the Rail Extraction task and click Apply.
