Merge Point Clouds

*This feature is available in the Standard license level and above for LP360.

The Merge Point Cloud task was introduced in 2020.2 and can be used to :

• Merge two LAS layers, subject to a Source Point filter per layer, into an output LAS layer

• Filter a single LAS layer, creating a new output layer comprising only filtered points

• Change the Point Data Record Format and LAS version of the output file

• Tile the output file based on a user specified tiling size

• Merge multiple input LAS files into a single output LAS file

The second LAS layer is optional, allowing operations to be performed on a single LAS layer such as output the Ground class only as a set of tiled LAS files.
