Powerlines Extractor

*This feature is available in the Advanced license level of LP360 and LP360.

The Powerlines Extractor PCT was introduced in 2020.2 and performs the following functions:

• Automatically classifies wires to the user selected output classification

• Models a catenary feature set based on a least squares, constrained fit to the wires

• Topologically connects span catenaries if their ends are close. This Topological connection ensures:

  • Connected spans have the same X, Y, Z end vertex coordinates

  • Spans still obey the catenary equation connection

The Group function attempts to group wires into related categories and currently supports - groupings.
