Available in all license levels of LP360.
The Add Cloud Layer tool on the Cloud Tab of the ribbon opens the Cloud LAS Tab of the Add Files
dialog, which allows you to stream files from LP360 Cloud directly into the current project without the need for downloading the files. This works near identically to adding locally residing files in general by using Add Files
.

How to Add a Cloud LAS Layer

Follow along with the LP360 Cloud Training
- Select the Add Cloud Layer
tool on the Cloud Tab of the ribbon or the Cloud LAS Tab of the Add Files
dialog (Figure 1).
- Select the
button and the desired option for adding a Cloud LAS Layer:

Pre-signed S3 URL
- Enter the pre-signed S3 URL to create a Cloud LAS Layer.

Browse Layers in LP360 Cloud, only available if you are signed into your LP360 Online account in LP360 Desktop.
- Select the folder or folders you wish to stream from, and the available Cloud Layers within the selected folder(s) will be displayed (Figure 2).
- Select the Cloud Layer(s) you wish to stream and press the OK button at the bottom of the window (Figure 2).
- The Cloud LAS Files will display in the Add Files dialog (Figure 3). Select a Cloud LAS File and use the
to remove it from the dialog or select
to remove all listed Cloud LAS Files from the dialog.
- Select OK to close the dialog and add the Cloud LAS Layer(s) to your project.
