Introduction

LP360 Cloud was introduced in 2023 and integrated with LP360 desktop starting in v2023.1 to enhance your workflows. It is an ever-growing collection of cloud-based tools and resources that will make it easy for you to process, manage, archive, share and collaborate on geospatial projects. Use LP360 Cloud to stream, share, process, and view data in real time.

Access LP360 Cloud using your favorite web browser by browsing to: https://cloud.lp360.com/ or from the Cloud Tab in LP360 Desktop.

A user must be assigned an LP360 Cloud Collaborate or other Cloud add-on license in the LP360 Portal to access LP360 Cloud in a browser.

License

License Types

LP360 has four LP360 Cloud add-on subscription licenses to enhance your LP360 desktop experience:

Store and share data; Power Search, and streaming → requires an LP360 Cloud Collaborate license.
DJI L1/L2 Raw Cloud Processing→ requires an DJI L1/L2 Cloud Batch Processing license.
Cloud Classic and AI Ground Classification→ requires an Auto AI Ground Classification license.
Photogrammetry powered by GPU Optimized Cloud Service → requires a Cloud Photo 3000 license.

License Requirements

Registration in the LP360 Portal. This will automatically create an account for your organization, if one doesn't already exist, that will allow the user to work with his personal user credentials (email and password).
- TrueView hardware users: With the purchase of any of the TrueView 3DIS sensors, an account is created for the admin of your organization. Use these credentials to access LP360 Cloud.
- LP360 Drone, Land and Mobile users: During the purchase of your license, your admin credentials are created. Use these credentials to access LP360 Cloud.
- LP360 Geospatial users: Register your organization in the LP360 Portal, if one doesn't already exist, and purchase the desired LP360 Cloud subscription licenses.
LP360 Cloud Collaborate license: This is required to access LP360 Cloud as well as use the Power Search and data streaming capabilities. But the main feature of this license is the ability for storing and sharing data.
The LP360 Portal admin for a company must grant access to the Cloud capabilities to user(s) by using the Admin -> Organization section in the LP360 Portal to assign/remove an organization's license(s) to desired users.

Dashboard

Your first view in LP360 Cloud is the Dashboard section, here you can view a summary of the latest files and tasks processed in your organization. Plus, stay up to date with the latest Cloud news and features.

Find Data

Use this section to visualize your uploaded files from our LP360 Desktop platform. You decide how to visualize them, use Folders to manage, consult details, and share your files. Use Map to search files by using our innovative geo-search tool.

Folders

Additional functionality available with a Cloud Collaborate Cloud add-on license assigned to your LP360 Online user.

Use the Folders section to organize your data in the Cloud in the same manner you would organize them on your desktop. Share your data with the members of our support team simply by using the feature Upload to Support of LP360. Download Sample Data to help you get started with LP360.

Map

Requires a Cloud Collaborate Cloud add-on license assigned to your LP360 Online user.

Quickly retrieve your data by location using our powerful search platform: Power Search

Power Search

Draw an area of interest on the map or enter the approximate values of some geographical coordinates to rapidly view useful information about your data without having to download it. Power Search allows the users to spatially search the organized data stored in LP360 Cloud, plus it can filter based on metadata information.

Process Data

Use this section to start new processing tasks and manage all your tasks. You can also check the status of all your organization tasks, view and download the results.

Get the most out of your data and perform basic and advanced processing tasks like AI Ground Classification directly on our powerful servers in the cloud without overloading your personal computer.

LPLAS Conversion

Requires a Cloud Collaborate Cloud add-on license assigned to your LP360 Online user.

The LPLAS file format improves the viewing experience to get the most out of your data, by streaming your point clouds directly into LP360, view on the Cloud viewer and share with your team members.

AI Ground Classification

Requires an Auto AI Ground Classification Cloud add-on license assigned to your LP360 Online user.

Extract and identify returns from the ground and build the ground surface without the buildings, vegetation, and other objects that have been classified. Uses a state-of-art deep learning model for detecting ground in your point clouds.

Relax and let our trained models classify the ground points in your LAS files. Use our powerful deep learning models to automatically classify the ground in your point clouds and prepares it for the Digital Terrain Model generation.
