• Source
  Defines which points are eligible for classification. For example, users can restrict operations to All Points or to a specific existing class. Learn more about Creating Custom Classification Filters
• Destination
  Specifies the classification value and flags that selected points will be assigned to (for example, Building, Ground, Vegetation, etc.).

The Classification tab includes multiple shape‑based selection tools for interactively assigning classifications:

• Classify within Polygon
  Reclassifies all eligible points contained within a user‑drawn polygon.
• Rectangle and Circle Tools
  Available in Small, Medium, and Large sizes for efficient point painting:
  • Rectangle brushes
  • Circular brushes

Manual classification tools are most often used to refine results produced by automated or AI‑based classification, especially for complex features such as bridges, buildings, or vegetation boundaries.

  Allows classification edits to include points that are not currently visible due to view filters or display settings.
• Undo / Redo Classification
  Enables reversal or reapplication of recent classification edits. Undo and redo functionality is available for selections within supported size limits.

• Auto Classifiers (EXP)
  Provides access to experimental automated classification tools when available.
• Outliers
  Identifies and classifies isolated or anomalous points that do not conform to surrounding surfaces.
• Tree Segmentation

For large‑scale automated workflows, see AI Classification tools available through LP360 Cloud, which can significantly reduce the amount of manual editing required.

  Tools designed to assist with post‑classification refinement, including correcting misclassified points and smoothing classification boundaries after manual or automated processing.
• Commit Edits / Reset Classes
  Finalizes classification changes or restores original class assignments.

  Initiates downstream product generation workflows that depend on classification results.

Classification‑based exports are often a downstream step after AI Ground Classification or manual refinement workflows.
