Requires an LP360 Geospatial Standard or higher, LP360 Drone, or LP360 Land Standard license.
The destination classification determines the classification number to commit points to when using the editing tools. The classification can be modified by selecting the desired classification in the box or pressing a number key to commit a set of selected points to the respective classification for the number pressed.
NoteIf your LAS files are version 1.4, 256 classes can be defined for a LAS point. Previous versions of LAS files (1.3 and below) allow 32 classes. The number of available classes is also based on the active layer. |
How to Modify the Destination Classification

Click the down arrow
to expand the list of classes in the box.

Click to select the desired classification number.
Press Number Key on Edit Commit

With a set of points selected using any of the edit tools, press a number key corresponding to the classification you wish to place the points on.

The points will be committed to the new classification and the classification will be selected in the box.
