Requires an LP360 Geospatial Standard or above, LP360 Drone, or LP360 Land Standard license.
When using the classification tools on the Classification tab of the ribbon or the classify section of the profile toolbar, classified points normally must pass both the Source/Selection Filter and a display filter. You can choose to use only the Source/ Selection Filter
for classifying points by using the Classify Non-Visible Points
command. Keep in mind that using this command will allow you to classify unseen points.
Example:
Water is off in the display filter, everything else is on. In the Selection filter all classification classes are on.
Case 1: Toggle set to not classify non-visible points.
Result: Only selected points, which would not include any water points as they are not visible, will be classified.
Case 2: Toggle set to classify non-visible points.
Result: All selected points (including the invisible water) will be classified. Note: In this case when the invisible water is selected with a classification tool (paint brush, circle, etc.) it will be highlighted.
How to Classify Non-Visible Points
On the Classification tab of the ribbon or the classify section of the profile toolbar, click the Classify Non-Visible Points command.
