Generate Products

Requires an LP360 Geospatial Basic or above, LP360 Drone, or LP360 Land Standard license.

The Generate Products tool on the Ground Classification Tab of the ribbon streamlines the repeat generation of products normally produced using the Export Wizard .

Preparation

• Apply Thinning before Products Generation: When checked, reduces point density in the LAS data before generating products, which can improve performance and reduce file sizes
• Preserve thinned LAS Layer: Keeps a copy of the thinned point cloud data after processing (only available if thinning is enabled)
   

Export Settings

• Export Preset: Dropdown to select pre-configured export settings/templates
• Edit: Opens editor to modify the selected preset configuration
• Import: Allows importing preset configurations from a file
   

Area Selection

Defines which geographic area to process:

• By Active Extent: Uses the current map view extent as the processing boundary
• By Feature Layer: Uses polygon features to define processing areas
• Polygon Layer: Select which polygon feature layer contains the boundaries
• Name Field: Select which attribute field to use for naming output products
   

Export Paths

• Export Folder Path: Directory where generated products will be saved 
• Export Layer Name: Name for the output layer(s)
   

Action Buttons

• Help: Opens documentation
• Submit...: Executes the product generation
• Close: Closes the dialog without processing
