Defining the 3D Window's Extent

The 3D Window's extent defines the area that is displayed in the 3D Window. The points that are displayed in the 3D window originate from the active LIDAR Layer.

How to Define the 3D Window's Extent

1. Press the Draw 3D Window Extent tool on the Map toolbar, QA/QC tab or Map tab.

2. Within the map, click and drag the mouse to define a box of the area of data to display in the 3D Window.

3. Release the mouse button to finish defining the box or extent.
