About the Field of View
In camera terms, the field of view is the lens that is used in the perspective of the window. If a large FOV is used then the view will appear as if a wide angle lens is being used. Small FOV values define a telescopic effect. Without moving any closer or farther from the subject a large FOV will make the subject appear further away. Conversely, a small FOV makes subjects appear closer.How to Modify the FOV
FOV Slider
1. Click on the Display Properties... command to open the 3D Window Properties and click the 3D View tab.
2. Click and drag the button in the slider control.
3. With the left mouse button pressed, move the mouse to the left or right to decrease or increase the FOV respectively.
4. Release the left mouse button at the FOV degree desired.
