Navigating in the 3D Window
About Navigation in the 3D Window
Navigating in the 3D window is accomplished using a continuous zoom, rotate, and pan tool . As the window is zoomed in and out (mouse button dragged backwards and forwards), the eye is moved closer to (zoomed in) or further from (zoomed out) the data. Rotating the data (mouse button dragged left, right, up and/or down) moves the eye around the data in the direction of the mouse movement. Panning the data shifts the eye in the direction of the mouse movement. The exact mouse buttons used to control zooming, rotating, and panning are determined by the current configuration setup. The default configuration is: left mouse button controls zooming, right mouse button controls rotating and both left and right controls panning. Ctrl+F fits the view in the window.Learn more about configuring mouse buttons for navigation.
