About Displaying Points at Full Resolution

By default the 3D Window draws thinned points to the screen. Due to the dense nature of LIDAR data, this greatly enhances the browsing performance. However, you may require that all points be drawn to the screen. The Force 100% Resolution command will enforce that all points within the active LIDAR Layer are drawn to the screen for the defined extent.
 

Note The Force 100% Resolution command cannot be used when displaying triangles.

How to Display All Points

1. Click the Force 100% Resolution command .

2. If the button remains pushed-in, all points will be drawn to the screen. Otherwise, only the thinned points will be drawn to the screen..

Tip If the defined extent for the 3D Window is large, the number of points drawn to the screen will be limited to the maximum point cache size.
