Introduction
This article will explain how to check the trajectory quality for the TVGO. The quality check depends on the type of processing performed.
RTK Processing
For Real Time Kinematic (RTK) processing, there are two places one must use to check the trajectory quality for a Cycle.
Check the navigation solution quality
- Open Trajectory Plot
to review the trajectory solution, where each point in the plot is a trajectory point.
- Q1 (Green) = Fixed solution
- Q2 (Yellow) = Float solution
- Q5 (Red) = Single Solution
Check the RTK corrections quality
- After importing a Cycle, open the Trajectory Points layer in the TOC by right-clicking on the layer and selecting Feature Analyst
.
- Review the "Quality" column for the quality of the RTK corrections:
-
- Fixed = Fixed RTK solution
- Float = Float RTK solution
- Single = No RTK corrections
- S/N = No GNSS signal
Note: If you select one of the trajectory points in Feature Analyst , it will highlight the point feature in the map view.
In this example, we can see in the Trajectory Plot that the solution is fixed for all points, but when checking the RTK solution quality, a few points are either "Float" or "N/A". This is because the SLAM algorithm will compensate for the loss of GNSS signal since that area is indoor, keeping the solution at a "Fixed" level quality.
PPK Processing
A Post Process Kinematic (PPK) processing solution is similar to PPK performed by other sensors. Check the Trajectory Plot tool to learn the different solution qualities.
SLAM Processing
SLAM Only processing does not currently generate any post-processed trajectory report or plot that can be reviewed.
