Connect the TV540 to the computer with the type-C cable provided. The computer will detect two disks: ALPHA_SYS which contains laser data, GNSS and IMU data; and ALPHA_CAM which contains images.
The user can extract the data from the sensor using the Data Copy Tool within LP360.
Open LP360 and navigate to the Data Copy Tool via the Sensor Tab > Utilities drop down > TV540 Data Copy Tool.
Data Transfer
Choose the correct device from Module1 list, then select projects and click Settings and then Finish.
The Data Copy Tool dialog will read the LiDAR type and SN on the top left corner.
The user can check project data folders on the sensor by selecting one or multiple sets of data, then it will display corresponding camera pictures, laser and GPS data within the dialog.
Note: Select one or multiple sets of data needed to copy with CTRL and Shift shortcuts.
Note: Double click on an image to view the details.
Define an output path to store project data on your computer and click Copy. Once the data has finished copying, the user will be prompted to exit the card.
Note: The default path setup is on the sensor. Select the ellipsis to set data path.
Disk Format
If the disk storage is insufficient, user can select the Format icon on the upper right corner to format the disk. Formatting the disk will only delete stored project data and will not delete the default parameter folder.
Note: If one of the disk memory is less than 10% or cannot meet storage requirements, user will need to free disk memory prior to flights.
Note: The user can only format disk via the Data Copy Tool. Windows disk format will delete the necessary files required for the sensor to operate and will cause an error.
USB Exit
Once the data copy is complete, click USB Exit to eject disks first, then disconnect the type-C cable between the TV540 sensor and PC.
