Use Plate Model Velocity
2DIS Trajectory Processing
As the Use Plate Model Velocity is currently not used in 2DIS trajectory processing option, the frame of the base station coordinate dictates the frame of the resulting trajectory solution.
If the base station coordinate and epoch correspond with the data in the table below the resulting trajectory solution will match the base datum frame as the data will be pulled from IGS(WGS84) to the base frame during processing.
Base station coordinate | Epoch |
NAD83(2011) | 2010.0 |
GDA2020 | 2020.0 |
GDA2020 | 2020.0 |
GDA94 | 1994.0 |
NoteToggling the state of the checkbox in 2DIS processing will not change the results. |
If Use Plate Model Velocity is selected to be used for 3DIS processing, POSPac will use the ITRF2008 plate velocity model for user provided single base and PP-RTX processing, or HTDP for stations from the Applanix database. This is only for use in EVO for SmartBase processing. When selected a 14-parameter model is used to go between the user defined frame and ITRF00 and POSPac will complete the trajectory processing. Use Plate Model Velocity then allows the transforming between epochs because the user can select a different frame and epoch for the export results.
