Requires and LP360 Drone, LP360 Land Basic, or an LP360 Land Standard license.
Introduction
LP360 uses ray tracing techniques and the oblique images to assign color values to the point cloud. This results in results in 3D colorization (sides of objects included not just 2D planimetric view from an orthophoto). The results of colorization is an RGB value assigned to each point that can be used for display and analysis purposes.
How to Colorize Point Cloud
1. Select the Colorize Point Cloud button.

2. Verify the correct Point Cloud Layer is selected.
3. Select Colorize Point Cloud.
Colorization is computationally intensive; you may have a noticeable wait for the process to finish depending on your computer and the size of the project. No new layers are created by the colorization process. The RGB attributes of the points in the Point Cloud Layer are updated. You can review the results by switching your point display to show your points by RGB .
