Requires an LP360 Photo add-on, Cloud Photo 3000 add-on, or a legacy Full Photo add-on license.
To use the recommended option of the Ortho Mapping tool on the Sensor tab of the ribbon to generate a fast ortho using the point cloud as input instead of the photos, in the Input Layer Type dropdown, select Point Cloud (LAS Layers). This option is recommended as it uses less resources and is faster than using the photo layers as input.
To produce a more refined, higher quality orthophoto, refer to Agisoft Ortho Mapping .
Input
Available LAS Layers
The source LAS that will be used to generate the orthophoto. When a LAS Layer is selected, incompatible layers are automatically made un-selectable.
Generate Orthophoto From
Select the attribute to generate the Orthophoto from Color (RGB) or intensity. If both are selected, two orthophotos will be generated.
Input Points Filter
This option allows the user to filter the desired points to be considered as input. By default, all points are selected.
Output
Output Orthophoto Cell Size
Auto-Compute Cell Size
This option will compute the most effective cell size for the generated orthophoto.
Cell size
Enter the cell size manually for the orthophoto.
Estimate Cell Size
This option will calculate the recommended cell size based on the Point Density and will fill the Cell Size field.
NoteAuto Compute Cell Size estimates the density of the point cloud within the currently selected area and computes the required cell size so most of the cells contain at least on point. Checking the Auto Compute Cell Size checkbox will produce an Orthophoto with a cell size equal to the one obtained by clicking the Estimate Cell Size button. |
Triangulation Filter
This option is used to eliminate the artifacts at the edges of the image.
Max Triangle Area
During generation of the raster file from TIN, it specifies the maximum area of the triangle to use. Any triangle that has a greater area than the specified triangle side length will be ignored.
Max Triangle Segment Length
During generation of the raster file from TIN, any side of the given triangle is greater than the specified triangle side length will be ignored.
Output Settings
Output layer Basename
Enter the layer name for the output raster layer on which the orthophoto is to be generated.
