Stepping the Profile Line
(Only available in ArcGIS)
A profile line can be moved backwards and forwards perpendicular to the angle of the profile line. This is useful for stepping along corridors such as utility easements or roads. You may move the profile line by a specified amount. The default step amount is 50% the depth of the profile line.
