About Rotating the Profile Line

The profile line can be rotated about the z axis. Rotating the profile line is useful for keeping the profile line perpendicular to a subject while you step the profile line.

Left and Right Arrow Keys

1. While the Profile Window is active, press the Left or Right arrow keys on the keyboard to rotate the profile line counterclockwise or clockwise respectively.
