Troubleshooting Agisoft Ortho Mapping Additional Metashape License Activation Error: “Activation key is already in use”

📌 Problem

Attempting to activate the additional license required for the Agisoft Ortho Mapping using the EXP tab of Project Settings results in an error, "Activation key is already in use".

🔍 Root Cause

✅ Probable Resolutions

1. Deactivate the License on the Previous Machine

   If you still have access to the system where the license was originally activated:

   1. Launch LP360 on that machine.
   2. Open the EXP tab of Project Settings .
   3. Deactivate the Additional Metashape License from within the license management section of the dialog.
   4. Close LP360.
   5. Return to the target machine and attempt activation again.

2. Contact LP360 Support for License Reset

   If the original machine is no longer accessible (for example, due to hardware failure or OS reinstallation):

   1. Contact Support.
   2. Provide the following information:
      • Your Additional Metashape License key
      • Company name
      • Reason the original system cannot be accessed
   3. Support can assist with resetting the activation so the license can be re‑used.

📚 Additional Notes

• Ensure the license is deactivated before reinstalling or changing hardware components. 
• The Additional Metashape License is separate from the base LP360 license.
