Troubleshooting: Base Observation File(s) have missing Observations

📌 Problem

After adding a base observation file, LP360 validates the file and presents a warning, "The following Base Observation File(s) have missing observations", followed by a list of the files and statistics about the missing observations.

This warning indicates that LP360 has detected missing GNSS observations within one or more of the provided base station observation files configured for use during trajectory processing. While processing can often continue successfully, missing observations may impact trajectory solution accuracy depending on their extent and timing.

✅ Probable Resolutions

1. Check for missing observations in TrueNav, CHC, DJI based systems before proceeding:

   • Verify the missing base observations by Learn how to check for gaps in base station observation files.

2. Check for missing observations after Trajectory Processing for Applanix APX based systems:

   • After trajectory processing has completed, whether successful or failed, review the base plots in the Trajectory Report. Learn how to review the base plots in the Trajectory Report Review for TrueView 3DIS (Applanix)
