Checking for Gaps in Base Station Observation Files

If the base station recording is interrupted, there will be gaps in the raw data that will affect PPK processing. Review your base station observables using the Trajectory Plot on the Sensor Tab.

Note: If the Trajectory Plot on the Sensor Tab is not available:

run rtkplot.exe from %ProgramData%\LP360
If not available there yet, copy the files rtkplot.exe and rtkplot.ini from %CommonProgramFiles%\LP360 to %ProgramData%\LP360
After that, run rtkplot.exe from %ProgramData%\LP360

Select Trajectory Plot on the Sensor Tab.
In the RTKPlot dialog, select “File” -> “Open Obs Data…”:

Navigate to the base station RINEX file, typically in your \Project\Area\Cycle\Survey folder and select.
The visible satellites should now be displayed and any gaps in the data will be visible. Zoom in and out with the scroll wheel to the time that is relevant for the observation. If you need to edit the rinex file check this article.
