Once an issue has been identified, you can add a feature surrounding the issue area as a rectangle, circle, or polygon. Once the feature is drawn, you may select or input a custom issue to assign to the feature. An active QA/QC layer must be selected before using the tool. Customize the content of the Issue Type list, as well as set the order and the default Issue Type using the QA/QC Issue Editor .
Issue features can only be added to the map when a map scale can be calculated for the map. In order to calculate map scale, the map must be set to a map unit other than "Unknown Map Units".
