Map Jump Tool
The Map Jump tool allows you to pan the map in any of the cardinal directions with consistency for quality control purposes. The distance the map is panned is controlled by the jump amount. The jump amount is a percent and is multiplied by the width and/or height of the map to calculate the distance to pan the map.
How to Jump the Map
1. Click the Map Jump tool on the QA/QC tab.
2. Move the mouse over the map and observe the changes and directions of the cursor with respect to the location of the mouse in the map.
3. Click to pan the map in the direction that the cursor is pointing. The distance panned is determined by the jump amount percent and the current width and height of the map. For example if the jump percent is 50 and the map width is 1000, the Map Jump tool will pan the map 500 (1000*0.5) map units in the x direction.
