Create QA/QC Shapefile Command

The Create QA/QC Shapefile command allows you to quickly create a new polygon feature class for storing issue features. Issues are helpful way to spatially communicate problems found during the QA/QC process. The feature class created is a polygon shapefile, and is created with the following fields:

• ID: Long Integer
• MSCALE: Load Integer
• CREATED: String with Length of 25
• MODIFIED: String with Length of 25
• USERNAME: String with Length of 20
• ISSUE: String with Length of 50
• COMMENTS: String with Length of 255

How to Create a New QA/QC Shapefile

1. Select the Create QA/QC Shapefile command.
2. Navigate to a folder to create the new shapefile and input a data set name.
3. Select "Save".
4. The newly created shapefile will become the Active QA/QC Shapefile to modify,
