Requires an LP360 Geospatial Standard and above, LP360 Drone, or LP360 Land Standard license.
The Review Volume Features tool on the on the Volume tab of the ribbon opens Feature Analyst
with the features of the Active Volume Layer to review the results of the Compute Volume
and Quick Compute Volume
tools.
How to Review Volume Features
1. Launch LP360 and Load Your Project
- Open LP360 and ensure your project is loaded.
- Confirm that the LAS dataset used for volumetric analysis is active.
2. Execute the Compute Volume or Quick Compute Volume
tools to generate a Volume Layer.
- The volumetric analysis typically generates a shapefile (e.g.,
adjusted_toe_volumes.shp) and optionally a colorized raster or LAS output. - These files are saved to the location specified in Volumetric Workflow Settings
.
3. Make the desire Volume Layer active
- Use the Active Volume Layer selector on the Volume tab to select the desired Volume Layer you wish to review.
4. Select the Review Volume Features tool on the Volume tab.
5. Review Attributes and Geometry
- View numeric results such as:
- Volume
- Cut/Fill values
- Surface area
- Min/Max elevation
- Use the Immersive Viewer, 3D View or Profile View tools to inspect the geometry.
