About the Run by Feature Attribute Command
The Run by Feature Attribute command executes a task based on a field in the attribute table. The command still runs on a polygon layer and will still constrain the area that a task executes to the individual polygon features in the polygon layer, but the difference from the Run by Feature Layer command is that the active task is not necessarily the one executed.
Once you select the vector layer, you will then select the text attribute in the feature layer to lookup task names. Then each task name you select appears in the Task List, which also provides information on the availability of the selected task.
