The Active PCT Settings button in LP360 is a central tool for configuring and managing the currently selected Point Cloud Task (PCT). Located on the Point Tasks ribbon, this button allows users to fine-tune task parameters.
When a user creates or selects a PCT from the Point Cloud Task Manager or the Active Point Cloud Task Selector on the Point Tasks ribbon, pressing the Active PCT Settings
button opens a configuration dialog specific to that task. This dialog provides access to:
- Input Points Filter: Choose which point classes to include (e.g., Ground, Canopy, Building, Noise).
- Destination Classification: Define how filtered points should be reclassified (e.g., Unclassified, Vegetation, Noise).
- Task Specific Filters and/or Parameters: For example, create custom classification ranges based on height or other metrics. See the descriptions for each specific task type as found in Point Cloud Tasks.
🧪 Example Use Case: Height Classification
