Copying Legends to Different Views

Legends can be copied from one view (e.g., LAS Layer) to another view (e.g., Profile or Viewer windows). Copying legends from one view to another is very useful and time efficient. An example of its use is when a point source legend has been constructed with numerous values and custom symbol colors and sizes. Duplicating the legend in other views may be time consuming and difficult. However, using the Copy Legends dialog to copy the legends from the view containing the point source legend to another view is simple and easy.

How to Copy Legends from One View to One or More Views

1. Click on the Copy to Clipboard command.

2. Select the view within the "Copy to Clipboard" box that you wish to use as the source of legends.

3. Using standard windows selection methods*, select one or more views in the "Copy Legends Tool" box that you wish to use as destination legends.

4. Click the "OK" button to perform the copy of the legends.
