Las File Analyst Repair Tab

The Repair tab contains several checkboxes for selecting repairs to make to LAS files that fail Analysis Tests. In general, Repair operations correct issues that make the file violate LAS specification(s). There are fewer repair checkboxes than analysis checkboxes, because certain of the analysis tests do not have corresponding Repair Actions. However, some additional changes to the file header are made through Edit Actions on the Edit tab. The Repair Actions available here, if checked, automatically make the necessary fixes for analysis test failures. The Auto-Select button will automatically select the appropriate Repair Actions based on any analysis test failures. The Repair Action(s) will run when the Repair button on the main LAS File Analyst dialog is clicked.

Note: LAS File Analyst allows the user to make repairs to the extent possible, but some serious issues may not be repairable and may call for an outright rejection of the file. If there is a fatal error in the file such as a corrupted header, it will be identified at load time into LP360.
