Maximum Points for Edit Manager to Enable
The Maximum Points to allow the Edit Manager to Enable is used to enable and disable the Edit Manager. In LP360, the Edit Manager provides undo/redo capabilities on the classified points during execution of point cloud tasks. If the number of points is more, then Edit Manager has to store more points for each step. This can cause memory allocation issues. If the number of points is more than the specified value (default is 500,000), then Edit Manager will be disabled.
How to Modify the Maximum Points for Edit Manager to Enable
The Maximum Number of Points to Allow the Edit Manager to Enable value is entered in the Performance Options tab of the LIDAR Layer Properties dialog box. To change the Maximum Number of Points to Allow the Edit Manager to Enable, enter a whole number greater than the Points per Refresh value and the Maximum Points to TIN/Contour value.
See Modifying LIDAR Layer Display Performance Options for complete information on the LIDAR display performance options.
