The Source Property Page of the LAS Layer Properties encapsulates the coordinate system and data source information for a LIDAR Layer. The coordinate system allows the layer to be used for operation requiring a transformation or reprojection. The LAS Files collection can also be managed from the LAS Files tab of the Source Property Page.

The LAS Files tab of the LAS Source Properties page (Figure 2) allows users to add, remove, or set path(s) for LAS files within the given layer.
How to Add LAS Files
LAS files may be added to an existing collection of LAS files within a LIDAR Layer.
- Click the "Add File(s)"
button on the dialog.
- Navigate to the LAS files to add.
- Select the files and click "Add".
How to Remove LAS Files
LAS files may be removed from an existing collection of LAS files within a LIDAR Layer.
- To select the files to remove, click on the LAS files in the list.
- Click the "Remove File(s)"
button.

How to Change the LAS Files Path
LAS files may be moved to new servers or new directories. Changing the path to the LAS files is a quick way to reconstruct the LIDAR Layer's reference to the file's new location.
- Click the "Set Path(s)"
button.
- Navigate to the new path for the LAS files and click OK.
