Sensor Processing: Multi‑Cycle Support and the Unlimited Add‑on

When launching the Sensor Processing Launcher , LP360 checks whether an Unlimited Add‑on license is available. If the add‑on is not licensed or not checked out, the Launcher will still open, but functionality is intentionally limited based on your license type.

This behavior is expected and differs slightly depending on whether you are using LP360 Drone or LP360 Land.

What the dialog means

“Sensor Processing ‘Multi‑Cycle’ support requires the ‘Unlimited’ Add‑on”

This message indicates that simultaneous configuration of multiple Cycles in a single Sensor Processing session is enabled only when an Unlimited Add‑on license is available.

Without the Unlimited Add‑on:

• Sensor Processing is restricted to the Active Cycle only
• Multi‑Cycle configuration in one operation is disabled

“‘Unlimited’ add‑on not checked out. Without ‘Unlimited’, only the Active Cycle will be available for processing.”

When the Unlimited Add‑on is not available, LP360 limits the Sensor Processing Launcher to the currently selected Cycle. You may still process data, but only one Cycle at a time within the Launcher.

This does not mean that you are prevented from processing multiple Cycles overall — only that they cannot be configured simultaneously in a single submission.

LP360 Drone licensing behavior

With LP360 Drone:

• ✅ Sensor Processing is available
• ✅ Multiple Cycles can exist in a project
• ❌ Simultaneous configuration of multiple Cycles in Sensor Processing requires the Unlimited Add‑on

Without the Unlimited Add‑on:

• You can configure and submit one Cycle at a time
• Each Cycle must be configured and submitted separately
• Job Manager will queue and run the jobs sequentially

With the Unlimited Add‑on:

• You can select multiple Cycles
• Configure Sensor Processing once
• Submit all selected Cycles together as a batch to Job Manager
• This enables a “configure once, process many” workflow

LP360 Land licensing behavior

LP360 Land behavior depends on edition and the Unlimited Add‑on.

LP360 Land Basic

• ✅ Sensor Processing is available
• ❌ Processing is limited to one Cycle at a time
• ❌ You must wait for a job to complete before submitting the next
• ❌ Simultaneous multi‑Cycle configuration is not available, with or without Unlimited

LP360 Land Standard

• ✅ Multi‑Cycle processing is allowed
• ✅ You may submit multiple Sensor Processing jobs sequentially
• ❌ Simultaneous configuration of multiple Cycles in Sensor Processing requires the Unlimited Add‑on

Without the Unlimited Add‑on:

• You configure and submit Cycles one at a time
• Jobs may queue in Job Manager

With the Unlimited Add‑on:

• You can select and configure multiple Cycles at once
• All configured Cycles are submitted together as a batch
• Project size limitations are removed (license‑dependent)

What this restriction does not affect

• ❌ It does not change processing algorithms
• ❌ It does not reduce output quality
• ❌ It does not prevent you from processing your data

The Unlimited Add‑on is strictly an efficiency and scaling enhancement, not a requirement for correctness or capability.

“Do not show this dialog again”

If you select Do not show this dialog again, LP360 will remember your preference and suppress this informational message in the future. Processing behavior remains unchanged.
