This article is a short tutorial on how to trim the starting and ending time of a rinex file from a base station. This is commonly done when we detect a problem with the base station observation, usually related to gaps in the base station.
This workflow can be applied for TrueView, TrueView GO and DJI sensors processed in LP360.
Download & Installation RTKLib
LP360 use RTKLib, but not all the modules. You can download the tools from the RTKLib website:
After downloading, unzip the RTKLib folder
Go to the bin folder and run rtkconv.exe
Trimming the RINEX file
- Open rtkconv.exe
- Add the rinex file
- Select the output folder
- Select the time start and time end
Tip: Check the starting and ending time of the cycle in Trajectory Processing, SLAM Processing or DJI Cloud
Add at least 5 minutes buffer between the starting&ending of the observation and the trajectory. - Select the output format as RINEX
- Press Options:
- Select Rinex 3.02
- Select the constellations. Tip: Recommended to work with GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and Beidou. EU and NA can ignore QZSS & SBAS.
- Press Ok
- Optional, Extra settings:
- Set the Interval: 1sec
- Set the Antenna Type in the Options section
- Press Convert --> A new Rinex file is generated
