LP360 RLM License Activation Utility

The LP360RLMLicenseActivation.exe tool, located in %CommonProgramFiles%\LP360, is used to activate, manage, and troubleshoot perpetual LP360 licenses. This utility supports LP360, ASP, and Lidar Server products.

Product To Activate

• LP360 / ASP / Lidar Server
  Choose the product you want to activate.

Enter Activation Key

• Enter one or more activation keys (comma-separated).
• Activate button: Applies the entered key(s) to activate the product.

ISV Port / Port

• ISV Port (default: 5055) and Port (default: 5053)
  These define communication ports for the RLM license server.
• Append checkbox: Adds new activation keys without removing existing ones.

Action Buttons

• Deactivate License
  Removes the current license from the system.
• Check Roam License
  Verifies if a roaming license is active.
• Force Checkin Roam License
  Immediately returns a roaming license to the pool.
• Generate Activation XML File
  Creates an XML file for offline activation requests.
• Create License File from Activation XML File
  Converts an activation XML response into a usable license file.
• Activate using License file
  Activates the product using a previously obtained license file.
• Close
  Exits the utility.

Messages Panel

Displays status updates, errors, and confirmation messages during operations.

How to Use the LP360RLMLicenseActivation

1. Online Activation
   • Select the product.
   • Enter activation key(s).
   • Use the Activate button.
2. Offline Activation
   • Use Generate Activation XML File to create a request file.
   • Submit the XML file to LP360 Support.
   • Use Create License File from Activation XML File with the returned file.
   • Apply the license using Activate using License file.
3. License Management
   • Use Deactivate License to remove a license.
   • Use Check Roam License for roaming scenarios.
