In LP360 Drone, while attempting to Geocoding a point cloud for a TrueView 3DIS or microdrones payload, the user encounters a warning message stating, "Overwrite Calibration File Confirmation".
This warning indicates that LP360 found a newer calibration file in our database than the one stored inside the sensor. At this point, LP360 allows the user to select the preferable calibration, If you press:
- Yes, LP360 will use the latest calibration stored in our database
- No, LP360 will use the calibration stored in your sensor
Probable Resolution #1:
Press "Yes" every single time you perform Geocoding.
Probable Resolution #2:
Update the calibration file from your sensor. How to do it?
1- Get the latest calibration file or "SystemConfiguration.json" file. There are 2 options:
a) During geocoding, press "Yes" to use the latest calibration file --> Go to <Project folder>\Area_\Cycle_XXX_XXX_XXX\System --> There will be 2 Calibration files, one called "SystemConfiguration.json" and another called "Backup_SystemConfiguration.json"--> Copy the one named "SystemConfiguration.json" since it is the latest one downloaded by LP360 from our database
b) Contact Geocue support to provide you with the latest calibration file
2- Once you have the latest, copy the "SystemConfiguration.json" inside the sensor UMS
3- Next time the sensor is switch on, the internal calibration of the sensor will be updated
After updating the calibration file, all new flight will use this calibration and the warning dialog from Geocoding will disappear.
