TVGO error - CopyDirectoryWithProgress

Problem:

While trying to process TrueView GO data in LP360, you may encounter an error while importing the data:

Error occurred in CopyDirectoryWithProgress():
create_directories: The filename or extension is too long.: "..."

The error is related to missing files in the raw data folder, which is usually related to using Windows copy for transferring data from the TrueView GO sensor to your PC.

Probable Resolution #1:

Use LP360 v2025.1.151.11 or later to import the TrueView GO Cycle directly from the connected TrueView handheld laser scanner using the robust copy of the Import Cycle tool.

Probable Resolution #2:

Use a protected data copy tool, like TeraCopy or Robocopy, to transfer the data from the TVGO to the PC.

Probable Resolution #3:

Try again to copy the data from the TVGO to the PC with Windows copy but remember that the copy is not protected, and some files may be missing. If this happens, try again or use TeraCopy or Robocopy.
