Error Creating Trajectory Points SHP File

Problem:

Import Cycle into LP360 results in the error, “Error Creating trajectory Points SHP File: <path>\Positions\Area_TrajectoryPoints_CYYMMDD-HHMMSS_FYYMMDD_HHMMSS.shp. Error creating Trajectory Point Shapefile”.

Probable Resolution #1:

The full path, including file name and extension, is too long. There is currently a 256 character limit for files in LP360. Deeply nested projects will cause this issue. Create the project somewhere other than within your user folder and/or remove some of the unnecessary parent folders to help shorten the character length.
