The LIDAR Layer has many properties that allow full control of the behavior and coloring of the layer.

How to Open LIDAR Layer Properties

1. With the LIDAR Layer(s) open, do one of the following:
   1. Right-click on the displayed file in the map and select Properties from the context menu.

   2. Right-click on the layer name in the LAS Files tab in the TOC or contents view (left pane) and select Properties from the context menu.

   3. Double-click either the map or the layer name in the LAS Files tab in the contents view (left pane).
   4. Press the Active LAS Properties command on the Project tab of the ribbon to open the properties for the Active LIDAR Layer.
2. The LIDAR Layer Property Pages dialog box opens.
