Requires an LP360 Geospatial Basic or above, LP360 Drone, or an LP360 Land Standard license.

The Project Metadata dialog, invoked from the File Menu or the Project Tab in the ribbon, allows users to create metadata files for their Project and output metadata files for each LAS file in the project.

How to Create Project Metadata

To create a Project Metadata file, enter the project's information and any details regarding the collection and original contractor of the data collection. Project Metadata files can be created before LAS files have been added the project.

How to Create LAS File Metadata

The project LAS File metadata will be automatically populated with information from the project's LAS files. To output LAS File metadata, make sure the Output LAS Files Metadata box is checked. Each LAS file in the project will have a corresponding metadata file.
