The LPLAS file format is using a file organization structure that is optimized to be quickly accessed in LP360.

LPLAS can also be created with a right-click on the LAS Layer in the Table of Contents with two options:

Single LPLAS File: All LAS files in the layer will merge into one LPLAS file.

Multiple LPLAS Files: Single LPLAS files will be created for each LAS file in the layer.
